And on an on....I've started out with mostly trying out natural products.....
I have AO, Aba, YTC

ETA: Nvm, the ingredients do say whale sperm....and I was wildin, I'm not going to take it out of my cart. I do want hurr that badly. I will however be hiding the container, because I don't want to have to explain that ish to the people around me.

I just did a quick google for it. Esperma de Ballena (whale sperm in spanish) and found the ingredients.

Ingredients: Deionized water, Vitamin F, D-Pantenol, Whale Sperm, Cetil alcohol, Vaseline, Quaternarian Amonia, Mineral oil, Citric Acid, Propilene Gilcol, Preservatives, FD&C Blue #1 Cert.


If it didn't contain Vaseline or mineral oil, I'd try it. I'm sure they make sure it's clean


edit: I'm a little confused now, because they have a shampoo, a rinse, and a treatment, but no "conditioner". The treatment has the jizz, but the other two have oil. So I looked up the oil, and the ingredients include whale sperm.

And yeah it would be poor business to sell people un-sanitized whale splooge, no?


And now I'm wondering how this product would smell. I hope they follow the Hask Placenta people's example and put some perfume in it or something

Ahaha, that was like the first thing I looked up..the smell. It does no good to have soft and shiny hair if it smells like....jizz.
But the reviews said that it smells really fresh and clean, but not too perfumey.

And ew, placenta.

What does your resume have to look like to get a job collecting sperm.

Did you have to start off collecting the sperm of smaller animals first? Like dog, cat or goat? Do you have to present a portfolio of other animals sperm you have collected as proof of experience?

Oh and who are your friends? How do you tell people when you meet them what you do for a living?

You meet someone new and they say, "I teach inner city kids how to read and count" and you? "Oh ahh I collect whale sperm and bottle it for sell at hair stores nationwide, bare handed, nice to meet you"

My flat Iron gave up on me yesterday in the middle of my trip in Paris. It had been complaining for a while and I just ignored it. So anyway I had an appt at a Spa and had been in the sauna so my natural hair at the front of my weave had reverted. I had to go back to my hotel looking like a real mess !!!

She is the reason my hair is super soft, shiny and manageable. It's funny cause I don't really think of us as hair twins but what works for her hair works extremely well for mine too. I remember there being a long discussion about this back when roundbrushhair had a forum. I remember someone contacting the manufacturer and they said that it the oil from the sperm whale. Real sperm would be funny tho.

Soooo last night I did a botleg joico 17 minute miracle. Why am I bootlegging? well
1. My hair at this point and joico aren't friends
2. Even if we were friends, I'm currently on a personal 'make it work' challenge.

But yesterday. I was reading about taz007's rave about this and was intrigued....

I used the technique just substituted products. The pink is essentially the steps in the 17 minute miracle, the black are the products I used:

1. chelated/clarified: with ORS creamy aloe
2. closed the cuticle: with a vinegar rinse
3. DC'ed with reconstructor:Aphogee 2min for 30 min
4. DC'ed with moisture DC:Mizani moisturfuze mixed with EVOO for 1hr

Then moisturized and sealed as usual. MY.HAIR.FEELS.AWSOME.

I just checked my bank account (it's pay day) and I received my company's Christmas bonus check that I was not expecting at all since I've only been there 5 months (6 months was the requirement to be eligible). I'm so happy right now since funds were looking a little tight. God is so good!!!

I'm in love with Nourish and Shine. My hair has been thriving since using this.
Yesterday I was talking hair with one of my patients (she started it lol). Her hair was thin, overproccessed, and balding around the edges. She asked what I do to keep my hair healthy......well that was almost an hour conversation. I had to pull the curtain and speak in a low tone voice so none of my coworkers would think I was crazy for telling her my reggie. Then I made her an index card with ingredients to avoid (mineral oil), stretching relaxers, co washing, apply a protecting to relaxed hair prior to relaxing NG, etc. Her face about hit the grown when I told her I hardly every use shampoo....and then she gave me that whole 'I can't go more than 5 weeks w/o a relaxer' story that so many of us too once told.



I felt so proud helping her along her journey. I hope she has much success.

More money! I LOVE Nourish and Shine, the one by Jane Carter right? I had a small sample jar and fell it love but have yet to purchase a real jar because its $20+....am I just cheap?

Yeah, the BKT scares me and maybe I'm just not ready for all of that. But those BKT threads sure make it tempting.

I want a steamer too! That will definitely be a 2010 buy for sure. Or maybe if I drop some huge not-so-subtle hints, it can be an Xmas gift.

I use my aloe, rosewater, and honeyquat spritz on my DD's NG. Hers is much more difficult to manage than mine. I then follow with HairVeda's Whipped Cream and CoCasta Oil. I can comb through that NG like butter. We could never get through the stretches without this. I'm about to check on BKT for NG to see if we can just transition.
