Sadly, no. She suffers from track (?) alopecia. I think too frequent relaxers is the suspect. She gets one like once a month even when there is zero new growth. Her hair is very very thin now. Thin and silver. I tried to tell her about how she's doing damage, but hey, you know moms! :yep: She always wears wigs now and I'm sure she's very self-conscious about it. But she's still beautiful in my eyes, no matter what!

Working towards long, strong beautiful hair.

This is my Mom & I at my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary ceremony. I remember bragging to my Mom about how I had managed to get my natural hair to look straighter than her relaxed hair. However, before the end of the day I was back to Afro puffalicious lol. We had a good time that day

We might not have the best relationship, but I love her to pieces.

This is my mom when she was 40's (about my age) she wore her hair dyed for decades, she hated her natural color which was brown:

@MsChelle that's taking it way back! lol!

I know!!! I am trying to dig up some of her old modelling photos when she had APL hair. Her hair has always grown like a weeding and she hacks it off every year.

My granny on my dad's side has hip length hair. I am gonna see if she will let it down so I can take a picture of it. She keeps in a braid that she rolls up into a bun. She is 94!

Yeeeee! Here's my mommy! I love her and miss her. R.I.P. Mommy!
