I've tried several hair products including MTG and Surge, but my hair is not growing on the sides and in the top where its thinner from wearing braids and quick weaves. Although it is growing good in the back. What should I do?

Give your scalp time to heal. Try an be patient. It once took nearly a year for my nape to START growing in after a bad case of eczema on the scalp. Now it is a little past my shoulders. Whatever damage was done to your scalp/hair follicles has to heal FIRST, then it will begin to grow and thicken up.

I used surge for a while, but basically, it was my own natural growth that did most of it.

Is there any irritation in these spots?

No, I don't have any irritation. It's just thinner and shorter around the sides and the top.

How long have you been trying MTG and Surge? Also, do you have a relaxer or natural hair?

My hair first thickened up for months, then gained length... mnaybe something similar is happening to you.

You truly have to be patient. It's a healing process.

I agree...there is no way around good old fashioned time...just keep taking care of your hair
