My hair is texturized I'm having several problems with it and my scalp. It's probably due to overprocessing and not knowing how to take care of it.
1. My scalp is EXTREMELY dry.
2. When I wash and moisturizing my hair, strands of hair end up in my hands.

I want my hair to grow, but most importantly I want it to be healthy. I need some help, please!!!!

What kind of shampoo and deep conditioner do you use? Are the hairs that are coming out long strands or are they broken off pieces?

My texturized/texlaxed hair usually breaks more when it's been stripped of oil. If protein doesn't work and moisturizing doesn't work. I coat my hair in oil, go to bed, co-wash in the morning (no poo), and style as usual. One of those three stop all breakage for me.

It's been much more difficult for me to learn to work with my texturized hair than my relaxed hair. One thing that I did figure out is that my texturized hair needs much more moisture than my relaxed hair so pre-pooing and deep conditioning is a must for every wash for me.
