Help! Something I'm putting in my hair is breaking me out!

The only thing I've been putting in my hair since the break out is glycerin, castor oil, coconut oil,and water.
My hair is doing so well with these product (hardly any tangling and knots) but my forehead, cheeks, and back are suffering at it's expense. :wallbash:

It's clear that it's an irritation and not acne because it looks more like a rash (a cluster of really tiny bumps). Has any one experienced breakouts from any of these products?

I use all the products listed, and I've never had a problem. Maybe you should do your hair first, then wash your hands and face/neck after to see if that helps?

I usually wash my face after doing this but I guess I need to literally cover my face when I apply these products to my hair. I put all of these products in a spray bottle and spray my hair...but I guess it's getting on my face and back too.

It has taken me too long to find the right products for my texture. :nono:

I've heard of people having allergic reactions to castor oil, it's more common than you would think :yep:

Try omitting that and see if it makes a difference

Oh no, I think the castor oil is the main ingredient that's keeping my hair especially ends moisturized. :wallbash:

Maybe you could apply it directly to your ends and not have it in a spray

I've used all of these and never had a problem and my skin is super sensitive. You just have to take extra care to keep the oil on your hair and off your face and back. I have to wash thoroughly with soap and water after using oils.

U know I was having a problem with my alter ego garlic conditioner, I mean my neck felt like a bee was stinging me serious, and I had an interview, so I was tripping, but luckily the ac cooled me down and the next day....nothing happen, and I haven't used the product since, sometimes even though it's good for the hair, but bad for the skin you have to choose or find an alternative.....I hope you find what it is....and I wish you the best of luck.....but I feel your pain....

I know castor oil sometimes breaks me out along my hair line. I just try not to use so much because I LOVE castor oil!!!
