Help me make it simple... Henna and Amla

I have been a member for sometime and I have read, read, reread so much on henna and amla. Please share with me your simplest recipes for henna and amla that do not include any addition of acid (i.e. lemon juice, ACV, orange juice, etc.) I'm looking for measurements of how much you use.

I have shoulder length hair, 4a. I started my natural journey in 10/2007 and it has been very interesting. I've learned so much from the forums. But after a while it seems to be information overload.

Any simple recipes would be very appreciated.erplexed

I've never used amla before - but here's my henna recipie:

1 Box Dulhan Henna
1-2 tbsp honey
6-8 oz coffee

that's it - HTH!!
