help ladies 2 textures

Ok well i was washing my hair i have these very loose curls on my edges.and its straight in the back..how can i make these curls visible when my hair is dry?

What type of gel do you usually use? I would wash, leave some conditioner in, apply gel and then start scrunching your hair in the back while difussing. My hair in the front is wavy and doesn't curl at all. I have to scrunch while its drying in order to get a decent wave of some sort.

How long have you been natural?
