On the suggestion with the beer rinse u could you ceramide-rich oils and products; beer which has barley in it is rich n ceramides and they help with damage made to the cuticle this combined with protein should help. Give your hair some time b/4 u decide if you want 2 cut some ppl do revert back but if after 2 months of intense babying it hasn't reverted then the damage is probably permanent.

but seriously though I'm not 100% natural yet, just hit a year post and my hair curls right up with no damage or anything (except the relaxed ends still hanging on) but I flat iron biweekly and no problems yet. Best of luck to you OP. I hope this doesn't happen to me.
