HELP!!! I AM IN A HAIR CRISIS

I went to my stylist for a retouch and a cut. She usually uses Affirm for sensitive scalp. This time she had to use another formula of Affirm because I have bad chemical burn. My hair is stuck to my head. What am I going to do? Then I asked her to cut it in a swing bob style to help remove the highlights and damaged ends. Instead I got the hair cut in the picture. She said she hated to cut it all off because my hair had grown 2 inches since the last retouch. What does that matter if you can't see the growth because of breakage? Please help me the left side is frizzed and feels like straw. The rest looks pretty health. My hair needs major work. Any advice at all will be greatly appreciated. I am so frustrated I am

sick.

She really cut the sides short. I wanted all the damage cut off and it to look more like a bob because it was so damaged in the top front. That is why she cut it so short on the sides. Please help you guys do you see the hair on the sides how it is just unruley? I am almost in tears. I don't know what to do. Right now I look just crazy. Is healthy hair only too much to ask for when getting a cut?

Oops, I didn't include the underscore - saw-ree!!

Overall your hair looks like it's in pretty good health. It Maybe you can do some extra moisturizing on the ends to smooth the left side out a little. If you're going to roller set or wrap it, some setting or wrapping lotion should do the trick. But your hair doesn't look as bad as you think it does. It has really nice sheen and body.

Thanks I will go today and purchase some rollers in order to set is after I shampoo. Do you have any helpful hint for getting it unstuck? The chemical burns have the hair stuck to my head.

Princess J - my vote is to wash that hair immediately and do NOT try to "unstick" the hair stuck to your scalp lest you break it in the process.

Otherwise it looks to be in great shape. Find some styles that hide the cut you don't like and wait a while. You'll feel better soon. Corrective cuts always invoke alarm....

As to the frizzy ends - wash and deep condition frequently and moisturize, moisturize. You can get them looking and feeling how you want (I've done so with worse "issues") it just takes a little patience and TLC....

Your hair mostly wants water and conditioner right now...trust me.

Thank you so much Tracy. Your advice was wonderful. My hair is saved from the murder of my stylist. I will take a picture and post it later on today to show you what wonderful advice you have given. I thought my hair was just gone. That is the beauty of this board. You guys are such great help. Bless you and thanks again

I agree with Tracy. Also When you shampoo, follow this with a very light(3 tablespoons of ACV to 1 quart of distilled water) before you do your deep condionting. This will help your conditioner work. Then if you can, do a roller set and a wrap then leave it alone.

You received some very good advice. I also suggest trying some Vitamin E oil on the scalp where the hair is sticking. It will help in preventing any scalp damage; if there was any.

I'd have to agree Supergirl. Princess you were given really good advice, so I hope your hair condition and scalp improves.
