this should be a real diagnosis.

I go through it bout twice a year, but this time it's real bad. I am really frustrated with my hair. It is soo daggone fragile and thin. It sheds soo much I'm surprised I have hair. It is noticably thinner and I think I have had enough of all thhis hard work with nothing but a thin bit of frustration to show.

I am really considering Big Chopping. Transitioning won't work for me cause all the hair will just break off fall out anyway. I'm scared. My husband don't like short or natural hair and I would have ti hide under the dreaded "weave" or wigs for at least a year. I hate the idea of wearing a wig or weave because I HAVE to.

Ya'll who know me no I have a love hate relationship with my natural hair and will just make going natural even harder to embrace, but I love how strong my roots feel and whenever I stretch I go through about 2 or 3 weeks of maybe I should just do it this time. Those who straight big chopped with weave how was it? I'm 9 weeks post and was not planning on relaxing until december. I just don't know what to do.

Girl, Im right there with you. How about you just do something special for your hair? What kicks me out of my hairmania is finding something new I could do--like a new hairstyle or another way to simplify my regimen even more.

or look for the things you absolutely LOVE about your hair--like those to-die-for ends. Cheer up sista. You're not alone 4 sure! :bighug:

Your hair looks great in your pikistrip :) I wouldn't chop if I were you. By Dec, or early next year, you will reach the top of the dress in your pic. I agree with tada, try a new hairstyle as it's less drastic than chopping.
