erplexedSo i had a curly weave in for only two weeks took it out and i had alot of breakage. my have is noticably thinner. I have been so upset. Any suggestions on what i can do to help it grow back faster. went to a salon and received a treatment and trim. Any suggestions will be appreciated thankyou in advance
I had the same problem a year ago. I was pissed, but I took action QUICK. Just like you, I got a really good trim( that helped it appear a little thicker) and a treatment. Then I just constantly pampered my hair from then on out. I used Jamaican Black Castor Oil 2-3x a week, cowash and dc'd weekly, and then slowly trim a little but more as my hair grew. I saw a complete change in as little as two months. My hair is so freaking thick right now. I hope this helped.
Thankyou Mertzy, i have the jamaican black castor oil will start using it. I also ordered some Hair trigger elixir i have been hearing about. My hair is natural so will try some protective styles
trim, stay on top of your moisture and protein levels, and add a ceramide oil to your jbco.. so sorry this happened. try another type of protective style like a wig and plait your hair underneath.
westNDNbeauty my hair was thriving before this, i steam once a week with oils or curl junkie and a list of other stuff in my rotation. i use a wide range of products, i try to keep a protein moisture balance. i usually dont straighten my hair i usually do twistouts or set on rods. haven't mastered flat twist yet. I usually do a heavy protein every 6week i have Dudley DRC. I have started back taking prenatal vitamins, hair skin and nails and biotin. I know it is a process on growing back, trying to be patient. Going to start going to salon to get some protective styles. Thankyouo
