Hi ladies!

My grandmother recently did the BC. She now has a mini afro. Her hair type is in the 3's. I'm not sure exactly but her hair is very soft, curly, and fine. Her hair is looking a little dry and could be more curly and shiny. What can I buy for her to giver her shiny curlier hair? She is 76 years old so it must be very very easy. 1 product that would enhance the curl and the shine would be great!

Thanks again!

She sounds like she may be able to use a lot of the curly girl routines.

Can you teach her about doing cowashes instead of shampooing?

That is like 70% of the battle. Especially if it is too much to explain to her about sulfate and non sulfate shampoos.

Find a simple leave in conditioner or see if just using one of the suaves or VO5 will help with moisture and shine.

You can make a simple vegetable glycerine and rosewater and add just a touch of a light carrier oil like almond or orange or lemon oil.

Start out very very basic and see how much she can handle.
