I don't ever rave about anything unless I REALLY feel like it did something.
Well I have news!
I finally tried the HH conditioner and my jaw dropped.
I first did a DC with coconut oil + AOHSR.
I rinsed it out with ice cold water.
I didn't feel like my hair was really that much softer after the DC...
I then applied the HH and let it sit a little on my hair (as soon as I applied it my hair felt softer, I'm so serious!).
I then did my second rinse, but this time a quick ice cold rinse to let it disburse and get some extra out, but leave some in.
My hair was instantly SOFT like BUTTER!
I did a few extra steps to do my nightly routine.
(I added coconut oil to each section & then smoothed it on, finished up with my cornrolls for my braidout, then sealed with my SheaCo cream).
I HAD to tell my mom because I could not believe it! She even told me in the past few weeks, "Maybe your hair just isn't soft." lol. Well, I was starting to become discouraged. I was starting to believe maybe that was true. And I was worried about retaining my length because I couldn't figure out how to get my hair soft enough to not break off (I have strong hair & I'm protein sensitive).
I let my mom touch my hair and she was shocked too!
She said,"Wow it is soft!"
I think I found my NEW LOVE & staple!
Anybody that has problems with dry, brittle, hard hair - this is the truth as of 10/31/09! I will be taking my hair down tomorrow for a braid out and if it is still soft, I will be letting everybody know!
