I've read PEACHTREE'S story on how she has decided to grow out a perm and she has given me great encouragement to do the same.
My natural hair is a 3c / 4a (I think). I have used perms for so long (14 years) and now I finally feel like it is time to stop for good. I did a little research on perms for black hair and have seen both the high's and the lows of this chemical. My last perm was on May 22, 2004 and I plan for it to be my last. My question to everyone is what is your regimen for growing out your hair? Also can anyone tell me where I can find Salerm 21 or if maybe I can find something similar to it? I’ve been just about everywhere and I can’t seem to find it. I also went to my favorite beauty supply in Los Angeles and I wanted to try the line that CaramelHonee likes so much...wow my jaw hit the floor when I saw the price, not that its out of my price range I just was shocked that it was so much! Well I guess it’s worth the money. I’m going to pick up a bottle of it today after work.
