\"heat\"

When ever my mom puts a perm on my hair, I blow dry it and then straighten with heat( curling iron)...should I continue to do this?

Re: \"heat\"

My cousin does the exact same thing when I get a touch up!
I'm about to buy some BIG magnetic rollers and get a wet set instead of blowdrying and curling it, that's double heat!!
I've been meaning to stop doing that, thanks for reminding me shree! LOL

Re: \"heat\"

I don't think that's good to do every week. If you must blowdry it, perhaps you can do so on cool setting and then use the hot curler (if you must). Some people do this only when they get touch ups and it's okay for them. However, perhaps you should try to use rollers instead of the hot curler as the final step..Or even do a roller set as Kamilla16 suggested..

I usually get my hair blowdryed, and lightly flat ironed only when I get a touch up, which isn't often. The rest of the year, I usually steer clear of heat. I usually get it done then because I like to see the length, so I'll know how much my hair grew. I also get it done because that's the only time, I get to have straight hair because I do braid outs and rinses nightly.
