/images/graemlins/wave.gifCan any ladies with 4a/b relaxed recommend a good heat protectant for flat ironing and blow drying?

Thanx

I like BTZ's Turn Up The Heat. It smells delicious (like candy). It does a good job of straightening my hair. It doesn't have alcohol in it like Biosilk, but it does have silicones.

where can you get this online?

I use the whole Reken Smooth Down line when I flat iron my hair,I use the Butter Treat not the conditioner.
The Reken Heat Glide is my favorite heat protectant.

I have heard and read in magazines that thermasilk is good. I used to use it, but my hair was a little stiffer than I like it. However, I may be guilty of using too much.

The only ones that I've used are Biosilk and the Flat iron Spray by Ion. Biosilk is nice and light and gives you a great shine, but it is expensive. The one by Ion is cheaper and comes in a spray version, but it doesn't work well for me. My hair feels limp, oily, and stiff regardless of how I use it.

I think I might try the Redken Smooth Down next time. I put it back on the shelf everytime I pick it up. Ultimately I would like to try Keracare Silk 'n Seal.

Thanks ladies! /images/graemlins/smile.gif Crystal can you purchase this online? Myco I want to try the silk n' seal by keracare also, but it's expensive. I'll probably try that and the smooth down line. I can both of those (keracare and redken) online and have them shipped over here through the US Postal System. Things are hard to find over here so most of my purchases is online. /images/graemlins/frown.gif Even the military stores PX/BX doesn't carry them.

I like Mizani ThermaStrength Serum and Dudley Cream Press.

I just used the last of the Dudley Cream Press and it wasn't that bad. I didn't like the Mizani's though I used it 1 yr ago.

I use Kera Care Curling Wax.

The Mizani Silk Curling Wax is also very good. My stylist uses this when I visit the salon.

Do you add the wax before or after you dry your hair? Do you ever have a problem with the product being too heavy?

I use Queen Helene Cholesterol. My mom used to use it and passed it on down to me. It gives a good sheen and just enough weight for your hair to lay right. My hair isn't greasy either.
