Have yall seen this lady on youtube?

I am on the market for a new half-wig wardrobe. I've been natural now for 6 months (4b hair). I think it would be better if I wore a half wig and braided my hair underneath as a protective hairstyle.

I've been watching this lady on Youtube named April, she does a lot of half wig and wig tutorials/reviews. I think her hair videos are very interesting.

I am going to attempt to blend my 4b hair with a curly half wig... keyword "attempt!" We'll see... I'll show pics later to show you how it goes.

Do you think her (April's) techniques would work for me and my 4b hair, although it looks like her hair might be relaxed? I realize I might have to use a lot of product for my hair not to end up frizzy, but I'm gonna give it a try.

That's funny you should mention that. Even though they look nothing alike when I saw april I thought of Ateyaa. They both are really pretty and have good fashion sense.

Anywho she is really good and has good tips...she even has a wig washing video I think her tips are good b/c she rocks a lot of synthetic wigs and they always look fresh

I LOVE April's videos! I usually watch them to get an idea of what the wig looks like on (the pictures never do it justice) then I get it and rock it with a gel headband. My hair is relaxed the the front stretches about down to my lower lip, but I still can never get it to blend right! You might have to flatiron the front, cause the synthetics wigs are super shiny and might be hard to blend with real AA hair. Good luck and I cant wait to see pics!

off topic: IMHO i think april rocks the wigs much better than ateyaa, but they both have beautiful make up looks!

Oh wow, this is my KISS buddy. She taught me how to use the rods which help to really blend the hair when wearing a curly half wig. I l also love the bold colors that she use for make up.

Yep I like her vids, she is the reason I bought the half wig in my fotki, for that one I just use gel and a scarf.
