Have Ceramide-containing Oils Improved Your Hair?

Certain oils are high in ceramides (ie--wheat germ and grape seed oil).

A few years ago, someone started an epic thread about ceramides. Ever since then, many LHCF have been using more ceramide-containing oils.

For those who use such oils (either to seal, pre-poo, oil rinse, etc), have you noticed a significant improvement in your hair ever since doing so?

I use rice bran oil which has ceramides in it. It makes my hair very shinny and more manageable but nothing will top coconut oil to me. I use them both together.

i've been using aubrey condtioners for years and they have wheat germ oil. i use an oil mix that has kukui in it with other oils to seal and my hair is staying more moisturized from root to tip.

I have made sunflower, wheat germ and grapeseed oils a part of my rotation permanently. My hair takes on a quality that's hard to describe, velvety soft would be the closest description, when I use them. WhGO is a bit intense, so I use it for DCs. Sunflower is super light, so I use it in the summer for shine. Grapeseed is just right for nightly sealing most of the year.
There is a whole challenge thread of women using ceramide oils. I'm sure they will answer if you post there.

 Thank you Nonie :)

Hey vtoodler, I'm a big fan of ceramides, they really turned my hair around. I use mainly hempseed oil in pre-poos and for sealing. We have a challenge going on,have a look here, there's some info there you might find helpful :)
