I'm going to try and explain this the best I can because I can't find any info on this anywhere. I was wondering if any transitioners early on in their transition ever tried box plaits on just half of their hair, like micros, but bigger? I've never had micros, but it just looks like they're unfinished plaits, is that right? I was wondering if it would cut down on the manipulation of the natural hair (i.e. stop my HIH disease 
) and breakage.
