Has anyone used the ION Flat Iron or Blow Dryer

I bought this flat iron a few months ago. At the time I didn't know anyone who owned the iron nor could I find many reviews that were not located on Sallyls website. However, the description of the irons attributes was fairly persuasive....so as a direct result I coughed up 80 bucks and bought it.
I shamp & condit with mizani thermasmooth & used redken heat glid. The results were blah. It didn't straighten well even as temp reached near 400. It also left my hair looking dry and dull.
I took it back and bought a gvp flat iron- a chi knock off sold @ sally's. For what it's worth this iron mos def rivals the chi. I had tons of shine and equitable results.
