I am tempted to wait until the May Philadelphia natural hair show in order to get the jelly to try it out. It's less than a month away and they are one of the sponsors.

I have been using Pillow Soft Curls for 3 days now and I LOVE IT!!!!!
Best product for styling my curls that I own. I love how it makes my hair look, feel and smell. Sooooo soft, shiny and scented. This product is making my life soooo much easier.

Dampen hair, scrunch in the product and you can be out the door and looking good too in a short time. No more laboring over my curls and kinks. Nope.

I got a sample in the mail and used it after cowashing my hair to style my hair into twists.
I like that it gave my hair a nice shine, a soft hold and defined twist out results. I didn't like the smell, it's too overpowering- smells like baby shampoo, and it lingers for hours. It also made my scalp feel itchy- probably due to all the fragrance.

BUUUUMP ...

A friend of mine had a bunch of Miss Jessie's trial sized products that she gave me last week. Now I've tried the curly pudding in the past, and I just wasn't impressed. So I was a little skeptical to try some of the other MJ products. I immediately tried the baby butter creme and the curly pudding again. Just like last time, I thought they were both too heavy and greasy <insert sad face here>.

Ahhhhhh, but then I came to the Pillow Soft Curls. I used a spray bottle filled with equal parts water and aloe vera juice and just slightly dampened my hair. I sectioned my hair into 12 twists and put a dab of the Pillow Soft on each twist. When I took my hair down the next morning, OOOOOO ... MMMMMMM ... GGGGGG!!!! My twistout was moist yet very defined and not a crunch in sight. Uber impressed! I'm going to try it again tomorrow morning after my wash-n-go to see if it works equally well.

Where has this product been all my life?!? I LOVE this stuff!!!

*Frisky*: I tried it with my wash-n-go this morning, and it made my hair shrink alllll the way up to my ears . So I will definitely only use it for my braidouts / twistouts.

I'm buying pillow soft curls now at Target. ... $13.20 during 40% off sale.

Eta: I put it back. The smell is too much.
