by the makers of the maxiGlide. I bought Beyond Straight and "the end" from QVC. Beyond Straight is a thermal activated, humidity resistant leave in that is supposed to make your hair straight and resistant to humidity. I used it last night and I have to say it really does make my NG straight I have alot of NG and with out flat ironing, my roots were straight. I ran the Chi iron over my hair last night and my hair is really soft and the roots are straight. The bottle says that you can use it to blow dry or airdry. I will try the airdry next time, b/c that is the way that I normally dry my hair.
Has any body else ever used this, perhaps with their MaxiGlide?

I have both. But havent used it. Did you use the Beyond Striaght first and then blow-dried and applied The End before flat ironing?

What's the pink liquid? a conditioner? serum? leave-in?
--when are you suppose to use that?
Whatis the small glass bottle?
--when are you suppose to use this?

:perplexed

I love :infatuated:love:blowkiss: love Beyond straight................. I use it 99.9% of the time I flat iron - which is not often..........and let my hair air dry with it. My hair goes form this
:locks:
to this:kiss3: and I can go here :beach: without my hair reverting!!!

I need that because I am au naturale..............

Most people don't post about it - so I am impressed! EXCELLENT product.....

The End -is just like all the other serum stuff...........
Here is a pic after I used the maxiglide and BS

I know everyone mentioned it can be done on air dried hair, but everything I read says to use with a blow dryer or flat iron. I would love to use this in the summer. The ingredients also sound:lick:

Thanks mama! Look at your gorgeous locks!!!:lick:

ANY hoo - my pic is from Dec 2006 - I have more in my fotki.........

BUT:

ofcourse I pre poo - shampoo & DC......

I used oyin leave in... sprayed on soaking wet hair - and banded my hair:

So :
on each section ( I usually have 6 sections ) I band each section and use a quater size amount of BS and add a bit of The End in my hand... then cover my section all the way down the shaft, from root to tip.... I continue to band.....and do this with each section. I put a little roller on the end.

So my hair is banded all the way down - and then I flat iron the next day with the maxiglide ( original) or Sedu - ( I have a sedu - maxi, and a Solia)

I hope this helps! I use the "Turn Up the heat" spray as I am flat ironing.

The pink liquid is a leave in, this is applied to your hair from roots to end and then you blow dry straight, you 'll be amazed.
The small glass bottle "the end" is a anti-humidity shien serum. Similar to others on the market.

Try it you'll be impressed the the pink liquid "beyond straight"

I have to bump this thread. This stuff is better than Chi and Sabino imho. It makes your hair so soft and sleek with no poofing. I got caught in a light rain and mist yesterday and my hair did not poof or revert.

Beyond Straight is great, great, great....I flat-iron my hair a couple times a year, but I wanted to press it when it get cooler because I thought it would take less time than flat-ironing.

I looked at Pinkskates pressing tutorial about three weeks ago decided to experiment a little bit on a section in the front of my head about two inches wide. I had already co-washed and my hair was still slightly damp, so I put on a bit of Tresemme keratin splash and some Beyond Straight and blow dried it. I pressed it and oh my gosh, my hair separated and sifted through my fingers (that had never happened before, the sifting) and was so sleek, shiny and soft. I couldn't believe that I was able to achieve that effect. I never had before.

I had my deck door open and was in the dining room that leads to the deck working on my computer, so it was warm and humid in that room and, although I wasn't doing any dancing around or anything like that, normally my hair would immediately start swelling, but I worked there for awhile and there was no swelling, no drawing up. On the bottle it says that it blocks humidity and it did for me and performed phenomenally, in my opinion, in its limited use in my small experiment. This gave me the confidence to go for it in a couple of weeks and wear my hair out and see if it holds up in the Atlanta weather. I believe it will.

I ordered some after Bint suggested I try it. I'll be sure to post my review and some pics when I get my order.

Man, where were all of ya'll when I was trying to figure out whether or not to try this stuff. As many ladies as there are on here with a maxiglide, I wonder why there aren't many threads on these products. I bought the set that had BS and TE with it. I thought most other ladies did too.

Man, now I'm going to have to straighten my hair a couple of times cuz imma have to compare BS and Sabino (since I bought that thinking BS wouldn't work). :nono:
