Does anyone purposely try to get a hard rollerset w/ setting lotion that is not diluted as much? I'm thinking about doing this tonight. /images/graemlins/scratchchin.gif

I used to do that when I wanted the "shirley temple-ish" look, but then I stopped doing it, because my hair was really dried out. I opted to do pin curls instead.

i would get a hard rollerset from using lottabody setting lotion. also if i dont put any moisturizer or oil in my hair before rolling my hair.

I do it sometimes when I need my hair to stay in a certain style for at least a few days or when I use small rollers for a long lasting curly set. But I never comb through it, I finger comb it only until wash day to minimize breakage.

So, should I not use a leave-in w/ the setting lotion, or should I just apply a less diluted amount of setting lotion? Actually, I'm really thinking about just rewetting my hair w/ setting lotion instead of washing it all over again...?
