Hard Lessons you learned about doing your hair

OH goodness, there are so many things:

1. When I was relaxed - getting relaxers every 4 to 6 weeks! I didn't know back then to stretch the relaxers nor how to do it correctly so that I experienced no damage and save all that fabulous newgrowth!

2. Colour and chemical! An awful marriage!

3. That darn curling iron - overuse of it, like daily!

4. No conditioner washing, this is something I've learned here too! Ignorance is a killer isn't it??

5. Not speaking up in a Dr. Jekyll Stylists chair and proceeding to let them jack you up!!!

I'd have to say these are my top five "lessons"! Hope I helped some!

I learned after doing my own roller sets/blowdrying that the mere $15 my stylist childs is peanuts, considering all of the work that goes into getting my hair to look good.

-when I was younger I over-processed my hair from roots to ends everytime, and use the curling iron every day
-I recently learned that reconstructors and protien treatments are to be followed up with a moisturizing conoditioner(thank you CaramelHonee )
-stop using that blowdryer
-not every stylist knows what they're doing (especially SHS or jealous ones)
