Since this is popular low manipulation method. I have a few questions for ya.

1. How do you keep the hair you leave out healthy, if you are combing it everyday to blend the wig.

2. What are you doing to the hair that is left out ie, to get a straight look...using heat:spinning:

I just want to let you know that I don't wear one everyday, but they are VERY good for protective styling.

1. I keep it moisturized with leave in conditioner and EVOO oil. I comb blend it with the wig my fingers.
2. I don't wear straight half wigs, the SLIGHTLY wild curly/wavy ones blend better IMO w/o using hear-that way, you don't have to flat iron your own hair. I also wear it with a thin headband (about 1/2 inch width) that way you can just push your own hair back onto the wig and pull forward slightly making a little pump in the front, it looks so pretty that way. the band is what makes your hair lay. Happy half wigging! =)

I just bought a straight one yesterday. I like it, ALOT! It blends so perfectly with my hair. Unfortunately, I threw the pkg away but I know it's a Fretress half wig. I purchased a razor cutter from Sally's because it was a bit too long and it held up during the cutting process. I think it looks better cut. It's so believable that my daughters could not tell it was a wig! This is my winter protective style.

Oh, BTW, I haven't had a relaxer since June, so that's about 12 weeks post. Believe me, this new growth is str8 from the MotherLand--no joke!! I had sense enough to purchase a bottle of WGO while at Sally's and it is truly the only thing that tames my new growth. I flat ironed the left out hair for blending but with the WGO, I know I won't be doing that every day.

I braid all of my hair...none of it is left out. I use a hand band to cover wear the wig starts(hope that makes sense)

The same answer as question 1.
I'm currently 13 weeks post so a very low manipulation hair style is a must. I have my hair in corn rows and I place my wig over my hair and apply a hand band so that no blending is needed:yep:
