Hairstylist in Indianapolis/Chicago area

Hey guys, I am new to the area and need recommendations of hairstylists in either the Indianapolis or Chicago area. I'm transitioning. I need my hair trimmed and I would also like it cut in layers. I'm also thinking of getting a sew-in. Is there someone in or near these two areas that is pretty great? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

im looking for a hairstylist named Jamila she worked in (around about)2002-2004(Atlanta), Decatur,GA for a while across from pilot gas station for tractor trailers and a apartment complex (i cant remember the name)and then she had a baby then eventually moved back to Chicago.
