Hair won't hold curls (Help!)

I permed my hair a out three weeks ago. After being natural 3 1/2 years.
I am trying to learn this all over again.

I have tried curling iron, rollers, with/ without moistrizer. with/without grease air dried, blow dried.

I am only APL. I can work hard and put curls in. they will fall out within one hour.

How do you guys keep your curls.

You may want to invest in the Caruso steam rollers, my hair never held curls but with the Caruso's I have curls for 2-3 days.

The ONLY way my hair will hold a curl longer than an hour is if I do/get a roller set. I also pin curl at night to help keep the curls.HTH!
