Hair Weave

I plan on getting a full head weave this weekend (braided of course) and I need some tips on how to keep my own hair in good condition underneath it all. I dare not contiinue to use the Frenchees grease with the weave, so I want something else to condition the scalp and promote growth. Do any of you ladies know how well the Surge spray will work in this instance? I am thinking, I can srpay in between the tracks with the surge, directly on my scalp and put some on the braid where the track is. I hear advice against putting it directly on the hair. If there are any other things you can advice, please do so. Thanks in advance.

You could try S curl or some kind of braid spray. I don't think you should use Surge on your hair either, it might make your hair hard, from what I have heard, and you won't really be able to tell. I still use it on my scalp in braids though.
