dear guys,
the other day, i was rooting around my closet, and found this weleda rosemary hair lotion i bought last year. The scent was great (rosemary and peppermint) but the product was nothing to speak of.
N-E ways, i was thinking, suppose i infused some alcohol (preferablely rye) with scalp stimulating, hair growth herbs in the alcohol, and use them like you would tinctures. You know, you add a few drops of tincture to the water that you drink so that you ingest the benefits of it, what about addding the tincture of herbs (like a few drops) to your conditioner, hot oil treatments, hair dressing and the like? So that you get the benefits of the tinctured herbs w/o the drying effects of the alcohol?
Does this idea seem promising? I mean, it would be fairly easy to get the herbs, but instead of infusing them in water you could do it in alcohol.
Or should i just stick to infusing them in teas and oils instead?
Please share your thoughts on this.
I think that i'm gonna do it anyway, and report back.
yours
