Hair Rinse/Semi permanent color, what brand is best?

I want to put a rinse in my hair, i have always worn black, I want to continue getting them but i am thinking of changing brands and wanted to know if any of you have any suggestions on what to get. I need something that will not leave my hair hard

I've never used any ...but, I've noticed that a lot of the ladies on the board that use hair rinses use Sebastian Colourshines. From the pics I've seen, it works great. I'm thinking about trying either the neutral brown or the clear once I take a break from braids.

But, I heard that when you use a black rinse, it doesn't rinse out after so many shampoos, like the other colors...it acts more like a permanant color. Please someone correct me if i'm wrong.
