hair growth and time in braids

what's the most length you have achieved after keeping in braids or a weave?

I gained 3 inches from November to March last year with a combination of both.

I gained 5 inches in 6 months wearing small box braids 2 months at a time.

I wear it about 3 months at a time and I get 1". My growth rate is only about 1/3" per month.

Man I am too jealous of Karezone and Debjay. Normally I get 1/4 an inch a month and 1/2 inch with braids. Mermaid I wear braids in the hairline with human hair WetnWavy and then weave the middle with WetnWavy human hair on the track. I spray the braided hair part with ORS Nature's Shine.

Usually about a 1/2 to 1 inch per month. When I was wearing them frequently, I would wear them for 2 to 2 and a 1/2 months.

i've been thinking about getting braids. after reading how much growth you ladies have achieved. i might give it a try. plus, i am looking at ways to extend my relaxers.

I have braids right now and I have had them for about 7 weeks and I have anywhere from an inch to an inch and a half of new growth. I think the last time I had braids with significant growth, it was the first time I had crochet braids, it seem like my hair grew 3 or 4 inches in 2 or 3 months, but I really wasn't keeping track then.

i have achieved the most growth in braids from my last time having cornrows. I received i dunno maybe an inch or more i guess. I never could really tell cause i couldnt get all my hair str8 out but it sure felt more the most i could get it smoothed down to. Its touching on my shoulder and neck and now i have in braids again i even have pics of the ones i got that so far every1 loves(got 2 fols that would like me to braid their hair

btw, they were thick braids too, like the ones i have on now, my cornrows were thicker than the others.

I've had braids for 2 1/2 weeks and i have about 1/2 an inch of new growth. I never paid attention to my new growth when I had braids before.
