hair color, what drug store brand is best for 4 a/b hair

i plan on going to pick some up today after class. i want to dye my hair black again. i don't care for dark and lovely because it faded way too fast.

Do you mean a rinse or semi permanent? I am confused because you said the Dark and Lovely one faded so soon...Permanent color shouldn't fade.

I wasn't ignoring felicia, but I don't use permanent color, so I was hoping someone else could give you better feedback. I just was confused because I wasn't sure how permanent color fades, but I understand now.

I just use Nice and Easy for every color my hair has been (and there's been a lot /images/graemlins/rofl.gif!!), but permanent will fade, especially if you wash it too soon. Also, after a while, it just does fade, but the closer to your natural color the less obvious.
