Please read post at end. TIA
I went to see a stylist that had been recommended by a few ppl on the board and my hair is in the worst shape EVER.
Is it normal for a rinse to leave black dye in your hair and on your scalp to the point where its obvious and if you run your hands through they look like youve been playing with ashes?
Also I was persuaded to try a chemical treatment different from what I asked for (my stupidty) but is it sensible to not base my virgin scalp, I now have burns all over (wound that hurt) ......
and when I told her that I wasnt happy with the hair she basically said "at least its better than the mess you came in with"...oh and lets not forget that this experience cost me over 150 bucks. Im a bit ashamed to say I cried over it but I guess I have to move on.

That would have sealed the deal for me. The only suggestion I can make is to shampoo you hair and scalp with a rich, moisturizing shampoo and that should take out some of the rinse she so obviously left in your hair.
The nerve of some stylist?? And there is a saying called "Word of Mouth" It can make you or break you. She really should've thought of this before she became so unprofessional. But what she really should've done was a strand test on your hair (since you had virgin hair).

Or maybe she was implying that you had scab hair (relaxer residue?). I'm guessing she didn't do a strand test...
