Now i hate to use the word "forbid" but what has your S.O. basically said "hell no" "uh-uh" "not while we're together" "not while i'm alive" or simply "i forbid that" about you doing to your hair??? what process or act are they just adamant about you not doing?? -- jainygirl
My SO has never said that to me because he knows I would never listen besides I don't really think he cares what I do to my hair as long as it looks good and im comfortable with it.

i did the EXACT same thing to my husband when we first got married. He kept going on and on about why i never wore a frickin weave of all things. I got sick of his yack, yack and chopped off my hair from the nice midneck bob to the tonibraxton cut ala Boomerang. funny thing is that's the last i EVER hear about weave. I only started growing it back out after my stylist did a bad job one week when i went in. i vowed no more stylists
Like it's been mentioned, my husband could care less as long as it looks good. I have a cousin, however, who doesn't want his wife to EVER cut her hair. Crazy!! She can highlight and style is pretty much however she wants, but all that he asks is that she keeps it all!
It doesn't really matter with my husband. Since I am the first woman he has ever had with long hair, he does like to wash & play in it so if I ever cut it, maybe he would make a comment. Although I must say that I like his hair better long because I like washing it too.
Well good for yall- my boyfriend is like, don't cut, don't color (and he met me with a blond pixie).
Of course, lucky him I'm growing my hair long so I don't plan on cutting it. However, I do plan on coloring it very soon and I don't care what he has to say about it. He will grow to like it.
Can y'all believe my DH is opposed to my phonytail?!?!?! He's like, "Why do you have to wear that when you have long hair?" He opposed to any fake hair unless it's braids.
Men just don't seem to underastand the concept when it comes to fake hair. when my hair was the longest, i wore fale hair too as a protective hair style and nobody really understood it. i'm with ya
i dont know about the rest of you ladies....but what peeves me to no end is that if i said i wanted to chop(natural or relaxed), he'd probably have a fit. Yet he never notices or compliments my hair AT ALL. All of a sudden he would notice me.... THAT'S probably what irritates me most about things.

I went out with this guy and we were talking about hair and he told me that if he didnt like a specific hairstyle and if we were in a relationship then I would be disrespecting him by stil wearing it!! WTF
My boyfriend thinks that if a woman cuts her hair she loses all her strength, I have no idea where he gets that from lol, but when I cut my hair he said I look cute but he told me its never gonna grow back so I guess Im on a quest of proving him Wrong
No major hair cuts, likes my hair long. He also says that the husbands and SO's of the women here at LHCF need their own website so they can talk about the nasty smelling things we put in our hair. This was prompted by me using Wild Growth Hair oil.
