My hair is not the easiest to manage after 6 weeks, but I am on week 10 and all I can say is the blowdryer is my friend...

I use the Babyliss blowdryer, got it from the BSS for about 25 bucks...and I used a comb attachment... I am stretching... and just trying to see how long I can go... but you never know it could be a transition... :)

Do you texlax, relax bone straight or relax straight? Cause that is a lot of growth! Do you us growth aids?

It looks nice, I'm currently 19 weeks post and I just don't know, my hair has been refusing relaxers the last two times I tried, so I guess I'll just go 25 weeks.

Looks good, I need to get a blow dryer with a comb attachement.
What kind of flat iron are you using?

Thanks Ladies...

I relax straight...but my hair seems to just revert some kind way... not really sure how to explain it... I use ORS relaxer and leave it in for the maximum time alloted... I only use growth aids (sulfur 8 mixed w/ Wild Growth oil on my weak area- a small section in the back), but not the entire head...

I use a Sedu Flat iron...

Girl you worked a miracle because I am 10 weeks post too and I caved in and blow dried too! I feel your pain!

Yes in deed... I had to take pics this time because my sister doesn't understand why it takes me an hour to flat iron my hair... now she has proof of the mess that I have to tackle...

Great results! It looks like you can be a long term stretcher with those results. Do you do steam treatments? I find that keeping my NG ultra hydrated makes all of the difference in the world.

Yep I use a comb attachment (just started using it about a month ago)...

Nope I have done steam treatments, but I am been hearing good things about them, so I might in the future.

Your Hair looks fabulous! You did a very professional looking job!

Hey chica! Your hair looks darn good for 10 weeks post. Can I ask you how you learned to feather your hair? My hair never comes out looking that good after a flat-iron. Only a stylist can do that but I really want to learn how.

lbjee: (feathering)... to achieve the feathered look I make sure my ends are trimmed so they look healthy and when I flat iron I twist the flat iron when I get to the middle of the hair section so it makes a big curl... and then I immediately comb thru with my fingers so the curl won't sit/form... Hope that makes sense

BrittanyH26: (self relax)...Yep I self relax with ORS... I know it doesn't look that way from my pics, but there is a relaxer in there some where :)

Oh I so agree that your hair looks fabulous!! Love the ng and I so wish that I could work my FHI to make feathering like yours :yep:!!

You were made to stretch relaxers!!
