Tonya - the color is FIERCE. I knew is would look good on you. I know it seems like I recommend T&T Bronze to everyone, but it does something different on each person.
You look like you spent a week in Cancun - I love what a good color job does to the skin tone..nothing like it.
Blaxal, I ahve a been a moisturizing FOOL! I went and stocked up on good conditioners and I am wearing a drawstring poinytail with S Curl drenched hair and vaseline on my ends...I am doing CO washes and I did a deep protein conditioner on Staurday.
Watch it with drenching the hair in S-curl. The important thing with colored hair is to notallow it to breeak too much and the number one reason this happens is that people overmositurize and let the hair get too soft. Since theproteins in the hair havee withstood a 2 fold attack, they are already too soft. Things like glycerin (the top ingredient in most curl activators) are too much for your hair right now.
There is NOTHING more important than keeping the hair STRONG with color. The double process softens the inner structure and adding too much moisture can backfire easily. Moisture is secondary. PROTEIN is what's most important. You can't do the same old thing you used to do. Protein, protein, protein. And be careful with oversoftening the hair. Don't forget!

I totally agree.
I started using protein on a regular basis a little over a year ago, and it has made a TREMENDOUS difference in the strength of my hair. I'm convinced that it's due to the protein that I'm now able to retain length in spite of the haircoloring & relaxing that I do.
