Growth update: ~2yr progress from total baldy (pics)

Hey ladies,

I haven't been around in quite a while, but I wanted to update everyone on my progress. I shaved my head completely bald nearly 2 years ago and have kept it hidden since deciding to grow it out... Yesterday, I removed my braids and felt I had enough growth to play with for the summer months. The texture is a little bizarre, as I had a "mini" relaxer a few months ago prior to a sew-in. But still, I'm happy to see my hair again It will take a while to find a routine that works for me, and that part is driving me nuts...but I'm trying to be disciplined! Having a stylist for a big sis really spoiled me, haha...

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the kind words.
I shaved originally because a) I was getting rid of my locs, b) I'd done it before and had really enjoyed it & c) I'm a "drastic measures" sorta gal.

Surprisingly, that baldy is kinda hard to maintain (when you want it down to the skin like that)... anyway, I'll give my hair a rest for a while before I do anything else extreme. I'm kinda interested in sisterlocks, tho. We shall see...!
