growth specifics order.

Early December, I made an order at growth specifics. Got paypal confirmation december 6.
Got USmail confirmation (saying that it was on its way) december the 23..
Never recieved the package...
Sent an email to growth specifics wednesday,.... no answer so far....

check on my account with the growth specifics website, ... well i can't find my order... but my money was taken a while ago...

I'll keep you posted on the situation but... I'm getting concerned.

Was your experience with this business ok lately?
 
I've never dealt with the company, but you should contact your credit card company ASAP! You have a certain amount of time in which to dispute a charge.
 
just cheked on USmail, was tracked YESTERDAY in new york, so I guess it would be ready to cross the border. I'll wait a bit more but I think it will be the last time I'll order from this website. which is a bit sad because I like her products. but the wait is ridiculous. 40$ international flat ship rate for more than 40 days?
I'll keep you posted on when I'll recieve the package....
 
Sorry to hear that honey. :sad:There was a previous thread about this. People were first reporting wonderful shipping times. Then there were some not so good reviews on the shipping time. She recently had a baby on top of that she hand makes the produts which could be reason for the delay.
I know that this is still no excuse for lack of contact with your consumers.

I just make my own growth specifics boundless tresses.
If you could u should just mix sulfur powder, jojoba oil, and castor oil. Its the same ingredients in her products. :grin:
 
I've ordered from growth specifics 2 years ago and had no problems. I was just about to place another order. Thanks for the info and the update.
 
If you got the usmail confirmation that means she put it in the mail. The second she put it in USPS's hands it became their responsibility. It's up to USPS at this point. Maybe call them and ask

Nothing wrong with that. I don't mind supporting others, but you can make your own. Of course, being sure you have the right sulfur powder. Flowers of Sulfur-Sublimed Powder. Check the recipe thread for exact amounts to use. There are some good recipes there. Much success to you.

Exactly, actually everything you need comes out less than $15.00 (if even that much) for everything you need, and i had enough to make 3 bottles. Im definately not trying to knock her hustle but with a sick husband and im the only one bringing in income I have to make the most of what im buying and my money being spent.
 
I have sulfur powder, I'll start doing some recipes when in need.
Thanks for the info about her having a child. I guess it explains a little bit the first delay (from the 6 to the 23 to ship it.) but....still...
I did go through USmail so I'll keep tracking my packages with them, not her from now on.
 
I've emailed her probably 4 times and still haven't got a response. This is my first and last order. Period. I don't care if my hair is growing 5 inches a month.
 
I placed an order with her over a week ago and haven't received anything. Have emailed her 3 times regarding my order and she has yet to respond to either of them. Extremely poor customer service. What sucks is this is my 3rd order from her. My previous orders were shipped within 2 days of me placing the order.

I don't care if she just had a baby or not. If you have the time to list specials on your website for 20% off between Feb 21 to the 28th then you need to have the time to actually process those orders and respond to customer emails.

I will be contacting paypal regarding this and plan on making my own serum from now on. Thanks for the recipe.

I agree with this. It sucks when a seller ignores the customer but is quick to take the money.

I ordered from her awhile ago and my order came very quickly. I am sure she will rectify this with you OP.

I have ordered from her several times and recieved my order in a timely manner. She's a member here so hopefully she'll be in to explain.

This is a prime example of why Asians corner the market on Asian owned haircare businesses. They always get my stuff to me when I want it not when they feel like it getting to it.

I've ordered from her before with no problems....she is a great person and has great business ethics.
