Growth Schedules.....sigh why wont time fly

Okay, I'm sorry for starting all these threads, but I've been board hopping for a while and after seeing how cruel the outside world was, I missed my LHCF sisters and had to come back home...

Anyway..


So as you all probably know by now, I bced March 26..blah blah...and its like...I charted out my growth for the remainder of the year (which I know everyone did when they were a newbie and excited about their growth! Don't front, you probably still do it!!!!!) and its like...time is passing soooooo sloooooooooooowly.....my first landmark if I stretch my hair is only 1 or 2 inches away, and hopefully by the end of the summer I should be near APL. If the summer flies by ladies, you can blame it on all my wishing, I'll take the blame. It's to the point I had to diet myself from measuring my hair. I'm only allowed to do it on sundays so I can fill in my little chart. I was on my hair so much I noticed it growing by like .0000000004...okay not really, but I was obsessed....realistically, I notice it growing by like the .25.

I dont really know what the point of this thread is...I guess just for us to gripe about our time woes, and for some suggestions...I was thinking to put it away in a weave or braids or something but I think I would get withdrawl symptoms.

but you better stop measuring your hair so often woman! you're as bad as people who are trying to lose weight and weigh themselves every day!

i know you are ready to see length NOW (shoot, aren't we all ) but i think it would help if you don't measure so often. what's the phrase, a watched pot never boils?

it iiiis boiling....It's just waiting for it to get to the point I want it to thats hard lol. I dunno, I'm going to try to cold turkey my mind from thinking about my hair. I'm always fantasizing about it being x length and when it will be x length and blah blah lol. My husband is always laughing at me and this hair story of mine. My son had a BC lol after he turned 1, and my husband says its because I didnt want anyone in the house to have longer hair than me. I promised him I would have to tell you guys about that but I forgot lol

don't feel bad i fantasize about having longer hair too. especially when i look at others on this site with long hair... i'm like, "oooh i can't wait for my hair to be that big/long..."
