Growth aid users, how long should I wait.....

before applying a touchup? I've been using MN and MT, and I haven't had a relaxer since June. I'm getting ready to apply a relaxer either this Thursday or next Monday. How long should I stop using the MT or MN before applying the relaxer? Thanks ladies!!

I just did a touch up today, and I applied MT to my scalp last night. I didn't have any problems. I also applied MT BEFORE neutralizing AFTER I rinsed out perm. The results..... SUPER SOFT!!!

Thanks for sharing. I think I will wait until Monday and apply the relaxer. That way I won't use the MN or MT over the weekend.

You should stop around 2 weeks if you're using a sulfur based growth aide.

If it's not sulfur based, then you don't have to worry so much, just do your regular before relaxer procedure and don't use it right before or the day of the relaxer. You don't want to get it in the newgrowth, it may make you get underprocessed.

If your scalp is sensitive or irritated I say to wait a few days before you apply MT.
