Let's talk about them. I currently have a tough time detangling. What do you all do?

Step 1 - Don't wear my hair loose for more than a day.
Step 2 - Mix up my DC with items that I know gives slip & moisture
I used to do the whole part in 4 sections and go section by section w/ conditioner all in it...
but now I do it all at once (if i have a week old tangly braidout i may part it in 2)
soak my hair in water
squeeze
slather v05 slippery conditioner all over
loosen with my fingers
start at the bottom and slowly make my way to the top.
once i finish one side i twist it and do the other side
then i loosen both twists and rinse thoroughly
Which one in particular?
Guess what, last saturday I was in the shower trying to detangle my hair... I had done a protein pre-poo treatment, wash with CON and DC with Aphogee 2 min... my hair was so tangly afterwards... Too much protein, I almost panicked. And then I saw the Detangling conditioner I usually use on my little boy's hair and I was like "Why not". I grabbed it and put some on my hair... WOW, instant detangling, I was amazed. A 4$-bottle of Baby Jonhson's detangler saved my hair basically... It is a keeper, I am telling you![]()
I prepoo with Aphogee moisturizer and coconut oil for 15 minutes with heat.
I follow by washing my hair with Aphogee shampoo for damaged hair.
After shampooing I apply my Aphogee 2 step reconstructor.
I rinse than mix my Aphogee moisturizer with Shea butter condish for a additional 15 minutes. (every other week though).
I rinse with cold water and than add me Aphogee leave in. Than I follow with a tad bit of coconut oil.
I experience no tangles and my hair is super soft.
