I am not one to just post a thread on here when i find a good product, but i HAVE to give V05 its props for this one...It made my hair feel so much silkier and softer INSTANTLY!

I am so pleasently surprised because i mostly use aveda, nexxus, joico and never give the cheapy stuff another look....but my hair was so dry and stiff from a bad homeade blowdry and press job i mean so much so that at lunch i drove to ULTA to buy a nicer flat iron (Sedu) and while i was in there i was just going to get some cheap spray shine or something for this catastrophe on my head...and i bought that..sprayed it in the car on the way back to work and have been spraying evry two hours since....the smell is lovely and the results were way better than i ever expected....

Its a leave in, detangler and shine all in one... after the way it made my hair feel...its going to have to go into one of my staples....

Is this a new product? Could post a picture of it or a link? It sounds pretty interesting.

It's been on the market for about a year now. I have a friend who loves it. Think I am going to have to try it for myself...

I used to use this product a long time ago and loved it. It used to be in a different bottle and I stopped using it after the change. I might have to give it another try.

Hiya. I'm looking for a good cheap leave in. How do the ingredients look? :perplexed I looked on the VO5 site but they are not listed. :nono:

Thanks miss monae for posting the pic and ingredients!!! yeah its really good!! i went home last night and washed blow dryed and flat ironed my hair...i drenched my hair with that stuff after washing it and...omg...it really really helped my hair feel smooth and with less tangles... DARN i wish i had a camera...ima have to borrow someones...but ive used a ton of products and that was the only thing that i changed up and so it was definately was the VO5 that made the difference...

i forgot to bring it with work with me today...so i can mist my hair....dang it!! its a daily leave in and even though my hair is flat
ironed it doesnt weigh it down or make it revert!!!!

I usually dont use anything that isnt loaded with essential oils.... but for some reason the ingredient mix just works!! and my hair is of the coarse and dry nature!! and its only $4!!!

Ooh, I'm gonna try this. How about the shine? Is it noticable? Any stickiness?

Nope! no stickiness at all!! Its not heavy, so i was suprised it did the job it did ( i did mention my hair is THICK and COARSE right, lol) and yes the shine was pretty noticable after i put it in yesterday at lunch, mostly it was the softness that was the HUGE difference, but it was definately noticable after i blow dryed and flat ironed...

keep me posted on how this works for you....im sure, ull be surprised...especially considering the price...but everyones hair is different...my goal is to use every day this week and compare my hair to previous weeks when i wasnt using....if it holds up by end of week..im really going to start getting into other V05 products!!!

I was in Walmart this morning and couldn't find it:wallbash:

I'll check out Harmons during the day the next time I go out. :look:

ETA: I just bought it for $3 something at Harmons. I sprayed some although my hair is in twists, and went about my business. My hair is softer. I can't wait to try it once I wash and wear my hair out. I will update and let you know. Thanks for the suggestion.

I see that VO5 has a whole new line of products. I was tempted to pick up, but I just picked this one item.

No prob! Yeah ive been spraying everyday since last week and whereas i used to use 2 or 3 finishing products, ive found that i just spray this and it does the job! Yeah...ill be checking out VO5's other products this week on wash day and ill keep you posted on how thos work out...

You just brought back a good memory for me. I've had this spray for quite some time, but stopped using it for whatever reason.

But, I do recall that it left my hair very moisturized and soft. It's very light and has a nice, clean scent. (I'm a natural 4, by the way)

The ingredients read differently on my bottle, so I guess there was a formulation change. But, anyway, mine reads:

water, propylene glycol, tea-lauryl ether, lactic acid, phytantriol, citrus grandis (grapefruit) fruit extract, helianthus annuus (sunflower)seed extract, cinnamidopropyltrimonium chloride, panthenol, biotin, tocopheryl acetate, ascorbic acid, niacinamide, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, polysorbate 20, methylparaben, fragrance

*I see that phytantriol is missing from your bottle. That's a bummer, because that helps provide heat protection. I'm pretty sure mine is the old formulation, considering I've had it atleast over a year.

Ive been using everyday for a week now as a hair boost and have used it twice as a detangler and heat protectand before flat ironing... i usually use nexsus's heat protectant, now i just use this! and my hair feels lighter and sheenier.... Still Luvn it!

That's a good thing! It's hard to find a true heat protectant. I think a lot of products claim to protect hair from heat, but they really don't do an adequate job.
