:wallbash::wallbash: I just barely turned 30!!! Are you kidding me? I noticed actually about a month or two before my 30th bday. What's up with that? It seems like women are graying earlier and earlier. I think my mom was barely 40 when she got her first signs of gray. She isn' even 50 yet and she has a LOT- so much she is asking me to help dye her hair! What's going on ladies? A lot of my friends have the same problem.

Am I the only one here with this issue? :look: Why does this happen? Obviously genetics are a part in my case but as a whole why are so many young women starting to gray so early?

i'm 21 and i get tons of grey hairs. alot of it is hereditary. i just dye it lol

I actually love my grey hairs, but my friends and family DO NOT...my hairdresser/SIL refuses to do my hair unless I bring along a bottle of black rinse...I have gotten away with it for the past 6 months though b/c she is incredibly pregnant and cannot run after me...LOL...:lachen:

P.S. I am 28.

Wow.. that's crazy, I remember a girl in jr high that had like almost a full head of gray. I really need to research this b/c I am curious. I don't have a lot yet but I plan to dye as well. :ohwell:

thanks girl!!

yeah, it's not that bad to the point where i'm salt & pepper but, anytime i get my hair done i get comments about how many greys i have. i had this guy in my HS that must have been like 16-17 with practically a full head of grey hair. some people are unfortunate in that area lol

I'm 20 with gray hairs and I love them. They look really cool now that I've henna'd. It's like an orangey brown color which shows nicely against my dark hair lol.

OMG... younger and younger. I am searching the net but not finding what I am looking for on this. I'm really really curious!

btw, you have beautiful hair too! And you're natural! I hope I can get to where you are one day!

I have a some grey strands of hair that have become very obivious over the past few months. My sister-in-law made it a point to point them out to me over the Christmas holiday. I happily told her that they didn't bother me because my mother started graying early and I was fine with my heredity. I will color when I deem it necessary. Otherwise I'll just let my hair gray gracefully.

I'm 26 and I've had them for a while. I love them. My mom said it's a sign of wisdom and I was like well I only have about 10 grays what you trying to say:ohwell:. Lol:lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen:I do dye my hair, but not because I have grays it's because I love color.

I started going grey at 23, I was shocked. I pluck the sometimes, but I mostly just dye them. I am thinking about using henna, got mixed reviews on if it is a good idea since I am relaxed.

WOW you have beautiful hair. Yes, I had gray when I turned 30 and I do not like it. Now when I rinse my hair it turns to gold it is just gray in my temples and one gray in the middle of my hair. I just do lots and lots of rinses.

I've had gray hair since I was 15 (YES, you've read that right...ONE, FIVE!!!). So, don't feel bad at all. I'm noticing that I have more now (I'm 30), but it's never bothered me. I've highlighted my hair red and they add a lighter hue to my highlights and I have gotten many compliments on it. So embrace the grays..

yep me too I'm 25 and have some gray hairs mixed in...I read in a healh book that copper deficiency can cause premature graying.

I'm 23 & I have a few (6 I know of)... Just spotted a new one yesterday actually LOL. There's a singular one in the back of my head that mother said I've have since I was 4! O__o I'm not sure how genetics take a role though... my father & mother didn't get grey until muuuuch later.

I just pull them as I discover them.. there's not enough for me dye my hair. =/
