Got my first wig and my head is too big

I got it on but it was super tight I have no idea how my hair will fit under there. (lol i left it out in a ponytail at the bottom, which really confused my mom)

My mom has been like you have too much hair for a wig but I was telling her no I see ladies with hair the same length as mine and they rock wigs. But no my giant dome could barely fit in the wig.

Has this happened to anyone else? Or have you ordered something and been disappointed?

I'm not too deterred though I'm going to work something out.

if your hair is out, the fit isnt gonna be the same as when you braid it up and put a wig cap on.

WHOA! You're hair is super thick and long. It's really pretty. I can't say that has ever happened to me, but I have gotten some braids that emphasized the roundness of my head more than I intended them to. Ever since then, I've been afraid to get braids.

I don't know if you did this, but have you tried corn rowing your hair. I honestly think that's the only thing that will work.

Do a beehive. I put all my hair in short wig and you cant even tell I have any hair at all. I dont think. I didnt even do a REAL beehive, just a makeshift beehive and I put a stocking cap on top of that.

BTW your hair is GORGEOUS!!!!

okay I take back what I said i braided the bottom and it fit better, it was still tight but much better.

Yeah it seems like I'll have to do that :/ only problem I can't braid but I think I'll order another wig before I do it anyway, mine kinda makes me look like mature...

I'm going do some straight back cornrows. I was hoping to avoid this, or get away with a couple but it seems this won't be the case.

Even if you can't really braid you have to get creative. I can braid anyone's hair except my own. So when I wear my wig (which is a very short wig), I braid my hair like Xzibit (you know the rapper) because that's all I can do. My hair is probably a couple of inches shorter than yours OP, but maybe a little thicker. If you saw me with my wig on (Halley Berry like style) you would probably think I'm bald underneath because the wig fits so good. I consider myself to be "big headed" too.
