O.k ladies I am in Target and I was standing in line and all of a sudden I started looking around at all the AA women. Most of them could use a deep conditioning and I wanted to just yell out our website to them because I saw great potential in their hair. So do you any of u ladies do this? Look at hair in very weird places.....

Yes, all of the time.

I'm always checking out hair. I see a lot of bad weaves and fried up dried up relaxed hair where I live... On the rare occasion that I see someone with long, healthy hair--relaxed or natural--I try not to get caught staring.

I was in the bss when a girl asked me what I used to moisturize my hair. Her was as dry as a dog biscuit and I was so glad she asked! When I told her curl activator, she looked at me liked I'd sprouted another head! I told her I felt the same way until I tried it. She bought a small bottle, so we'll see!

I see a lot of black women w/nice hair. Now the white women on the bus, that's another story. Their hair always looks so frizzy and dry. So yes I look and think of ways they could improve their hair.

Dry as a dog biscuit! HAHAHAHAAAAAA!

I stare at women's hair on the subway. Very bad habit, but I can't help myself! That's generally how I come up with new ideas for my own hair. And yes, I have tips in the back of my mind that I am ready to offer them as well, although I think people are afraid of my hair because I don't hot curl it everyday, or have bad habits that I can tell that they possess just by looking at their hair.

I've seen people look at me strange because a lot of mornings, my hair is damp. I saw one black lady (I saw her through the window, so she didn't know I could see her behind me) looking at my hair as if, "I know that girl's hair ain't wet!" But hey. My hair loves water, and it is showing. And my waves have been looking much better since my last trim, so I could care less. Caucasians aren't the only ones who can wet their hair everyday. Grief!

But, I am a subway gazer! I always stare politely though.

I do that all the time in church.

Some of the ladies have really dry hair that's breaking, and you can tell that with a little help they would have nice hair.

Tee hee! My grandmother used to say that. She also said "If you use too much hair grease, when you prespire you will look like a greased pig at the county fair."

As soon as I came to these boards, that was me... staring at women's hair commenting on what they could use, and how i wish i had hair like that... etc. etc. I'm thinking of printing up a few business cards with this website and a little note saying:
Don't give up... we can help.

I know what you mean though. I want to advise people here in good ol' California, and I try not to stare. However, I'd rather they'd ask me because some people are not very gracious...know what I mean?

Ladiez itz good 2no im not alone. I stare at others hair no matter where I am just itching to direct them to the nearest bss! Karinica, i defintiely relate to you on the damp hair thing. When I rinsed my hair at my cousin's house one mroning o get rid of the sweat, she looked at me as if I had lost my mind...but she now does the same!
But here in NYC especially in harlem, itz difficult NOT to stare.

omg i do that to ithought iwas just weird. but i do it with everybody. lik i look at the yt girls in my classes and think " gosh her hair is oily i wonder if she washes daily?" or " her ends are shot, she has a lot of breakage i bet." me and my best friend watch tv and talk about the actesses outfits and hair. so far i like kyla pratt( one on one) karen from will and grace, the red head girl on grounded for life and free off 106th and park.

I am totally like that. It really breaks my heart to see little girls(4&5) who already have relaxers. Their hair is dried out and breaking, edges almost bald , caked full of gel. Some women will ask me what kind of "hair grease" I use on my daughters' hair to make it grow. I just want to tell them that it isn't about "grease". That is why I love this board. You can never know too much about our hair. I have started the conditioner washes and am having success with those.
