Going crazy without my shower head

Lately my hair has taken a turn for the worse.

Actually my hair was in wonderful shape. I had been doing the V-Challenge since November (i think) and I only had about 4 split ends on my whole head. I even made it to my goal of OVER 14 1/8 inches.

Then my dumb self went to the SHS. She cut over two and one half inches of my hair without my permission again. She called herself layering my hair. In addition she burned me so bad and pretty much told me that it was my fault (i dont see why considering that i followed all the tips on here as usual). Then she added a rinse to my hair but didn't treat the ends. Now my hair is two colors. Can you believe that I still have those same four split ends that I saw before going to her?

I have less than 12 inches of hair on my head.

Oh, I'm not finished. If you guys donn't know already my shower head doesn't work so I have been forced to wash my hair in the tub/sink. I get horrible tangles. Not even my best detanglers (oils, biotera, conditioner mixed with water, everything) can get the tangles out. I am losing a lot of hair. Very depressed about it. The shower attachments cant attach to my tub's faucet because it's made weird. I miss having tangle free hair

Please give suggestions and hope.

Sorry to hear about your experience anky

but I may have a solution for washing without a shower head. If you have a large bucket you could fill it with water and use some sort of small container to scoop the water up with to rinse your hair.

It is a little tricky but this is what I did before I had a shower fitted. HTH

Ive never had problems with tangles when my mom used to wash my hair in the sink. I know its probably kinda hard to wash your hair in the sink yourself. Sorry about your experience. I would suggest to never go to the salon again and if you do, make sure you tell them "Don't Cut My Hair AT ALL!"

Anky - Sorry to hear you're having hair troubles.

If I remember correctly, isn't this the crazy lady that kept suggesting you try everything in her cabinet when you went back to after growing lots of hair? The same one that offered to cut your hair when you didn't need the trim? Her game clearly hasn't changed, so please make that the LAST time you visit her.

In the meantime, maybe you can do a semi permanent color to even it out. Regarding the tangles, the thing about washing hair in the sink is that it's kinda hard to do it yourself. If you're prone to tangles, after you wash your hair upside down in the sink, detangle your hair the same way (with your head flipped over), clip it on the top of your head, and ONLY take it down in sections to comb/rollerset/whatever you do after conditioning. This should save you lots of hair. HTH

It may be hard, and hurt a little, but try to lean over the sink backwards...when I HAVE to wash my hair in the sink because im too lazy to get in the shower in the middle of the day, I dont comb it until I have my conditioner well massaged in and then I get a big serving pitcher and lean slightly backwards at the sink and pour it over my head until I get it all out...it works well, of course not as well as the showerhead but it does cut down on tangles
