Glycerin & Rosewater

I am thinking about incorporating Glycerin and Rosewater into my regimen as a moisturizer and I wanted to know if any of you ladies use it? And if so what is your recipe and what have been the benefits?

I use it all the time in products or just those two alone. Depending on what I need more of I will adjust it or just go 50/50. Some days if I am rushing I will spray this in my hair just to give it some moisture and a little bit of a scent, kind of like a hair perfume for lack of a better way to explain it.

For me it is just another way to help keep moisture and some softness to this seriously uber thick cottony mass of wonderfulness on top of my head. :)

It's what I use in my baggie every night. Good stuff. It's good to freshen up your hair whenever needed and it does soften the hair a lot. It's a staple of mine!

Please more responses. I purchased these exact two items and have yet to use them because I'm not sure of the ration I should do and what else I want to add to it.

I'm 18 weeks post and here's what in my spritz bottle:

1. Rose Water
2. Aloe Vera Juice
3. Aphogee Pro-Vitamin Leave-In
4. Aphogee Green Tea Reconstructor
5. S-Curl Moisturizer

Put in bottle with some water, shake and spray directly on NG. The comb glides through! My hair stays moisturized all day long.

Glycerin is tough for me. Too sticky.

Korean,
I use a mixture of aloe vera juice/rosewater, and glycerin on my dd's hair when her hair is in a braided style. If I use it on her hair at any other time, like for ponytails/pom poms, the water content causes her hair to shrink a bit and the glycerin can make her hair sticky. But I do love the mixture. It does make her hair soft. It's a quick way for me to moisturize her braids. You may try looking in the Hair recipe forum for ideas on a recipe.

OT -I use this to moisturize my face after I put on lotion. It makes my skin so soft and refreshed.

I buy them combined from Heritage (thats the company) but I get it at Whole Foods. Anyway, I transfer to a spray bottle and it is very moisturizing! Sometimes I spritz it, then moisturizer on top, then seal. Other times the spritz is enough and I just seal on top of that. Either way its a great addition to my reggie..only prob is the bottles are so small by that brand!
