When you use gel, do you pull it all the way through to the ends, or only on the top and/or edges?

i tend to do both depending on what i'm trying to accomplish. aloe vera is what i use and it controls the new growth for me on top and sometimes i like to use it all over depending on my style and what i'm trying to do when creating my styles.

i mix Fantasia IC gel with World of Curls activator gel in a separate container. i put the mixture throughout my hair and around my edges.

I use it mainly so that my curls hold up in the humidity without losing its formation.

I am currently using 98% aloe vera gel and Pantene's curl gel and loving both. Pantene doesn't contain any alcohol by the way.

Infusium styling gel is good. It doesn't leave your hair hard and crunchy like many other gels do.

alrighty I just bought some aloe vera gel. now has anyone ever used this before doing a braidout?

I only use gel on top and on my edges - mixed with pomade.
