Ok girlfriend, I am tired for you ;) .
Your hair is beautiful!!! How long did that whole process take for you? Do you wash and condition under streaming shower water as I have heard that many ladies with longer hair do? I am curious because you did not lose alot of hair at all, especially for not combing through it for a few days.

OMG...u have some of the thickest, prettiest hair I have ever seen. I also want to know how long it took from start to finish and what shampoo and conditioner you used. Gurl I know your muscles are aching...lol.... I just bc'd in feb but once I get there maybe I will just maintain at brastrap...lol...

:)

Thank you girl, You know i didnt really time it, all I know is it took a really long time, I think over an hour. it was highly tangled and I had to do little sections at a time.

I did the big no no and bent over the tub lol. it doenst really honestly make a differenct for me in the amount of tangles or work wether i wash it in the shower or bent over the tub like it might for others.

This was with no shampoo, and no conditioner...It was just a fresh water rinse only....i just really really rinsed it well to get all the produts out. That amount of hair is my typical amount for a few/several days between full combings.

thank you girl! congrats on the bc!!!

It took at least an hour maybe more. No shampoo, no conditioner, my hair looks somewhat different after a CW , alot more tame lol. I have an album with that in my 2004 folder.

Girl I dont even go through all that very often trust me. Its too big of a process..I avoid it as much as possible lol

I just throw products in it day after day put it up and call it a day and in between combings do brush ups. But I never do just water rinses like I did last night. I just wanted some "true" no product whatsover pics , not freshly conditioned. whew I got em, but never again lol

Is this sold at whole foods or do you have to order it?

I ordered it from fromnaturewithlove.com

let me just add, any heavy product or butter or conditioner, or coconut oil all works the same in my hair (see the conditioner wash album and other albums too) as long as its heavy it will all do the same thing as what you see the avacodo butter did, grease used to do it too, only i cant use no grease no more lol. I used tons of it....im really heavy handed. Not sure if anyone wants to walk around that buttered up lol...but i do love it, Im sure you will too. Fromnaturewithlove is excellent to order from. Im not sure if they have it at wholefoods or not though , others might know

:shocked:Oh snap! Going thru those pictures I was like...."ain't she finished yet?"

I seriously thought your hair looked like that after it dried with no product!. I had no idea how long it took getting thru it with that butter. That stuff really works wonders for you. It really made it look less bulky and lengthened the curls as well.

lol Honi, I think alot of folks thought that actually. There was kind of a blow up on my group, which caused my ablum lies lies lies to be born (proud of my baby too lol)

I think its what partially sparked the desire to show what I actually really deal with, I never would have thought to take pics of what I'm really starting/dealing with, now I see the importance of others understanding not just what i say, but seeing it with their own eyes. I dont think it can be twisted again, unless they are just twisted lol

any heavy type of product does that in my hair, shea, avacodo, mango, coconut oil, (althouth not heavy does the same) or conditioner, and some leave ins like recovery, i just have to go heavy with everything..my hair is always fully loaded. lol
