My hair takes a long time to dry. I want to up my cowashes but airdrying is an all day process for me and im too lazy to blow dry.

I usually cowash at night and airdry but I want to be able to wash with my showers. Do you use a dryer everyday or just deal with wet hair??

I usually co wash at night too and let it airdry before bed. But this summer I have been washing in the morning before work. I slap a headband on and go and lete it dry throughout the day. But I am relaxed and my hair is shorter so it usually dries completely before the morning is over. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Its ok my hair is short too EL idk why its takes a full day to airday. My hair is just wierd. Honestly I think the only reason my hair dries when im sleep is the pillow absorbs the extra water.

I've been air drying all summer as well. I usually wrap my hair up with a receiving blanket straight out of the shower, and that absorbs the excess moisture....then I let the air do the rest of the work. During the winter, I will be using my blow dryer and a diffuser for those days I want to wear my hair curly.

I usually air dry but you can use a tshirt to wrap your head in to help it dry faster or a diffuser.

I airdry always.

Summertime is easy because it's so hot here. In the winter, I use my small fan on my dresser to speed things up. I also don't mind going to sleep with slightly damp hair put in two braids. Makes for a nice braidout the next day.

I had 2 turbie twists but I cant find one and the other one broke a few months ago. when I lost my second turbie thats when I learned how long it takes to dry my hair. I never tried a t-shirt ima look for one of my old ones asap. Thanks

Air dry throughout the day; summer and winter. During the winter I wear my ski cap to keep my head warm when I am outside. I even wear my hat and gloves in the office if it is too cold which it is most of the time.

I cowash every other day at night. I do a braid out or put it in a bun directly after. It dried while I'm sleep.

I cowash in the morning and I airdry by letting my hair hang loose. My hair is relaxed and shoulder length and it takes about 2 hours to dry.

I cowash with my shower in the morning. Then seal the wet hair with Vatika Coconut oil and bun.....and GO!!!

I cowash two times a week at night. I place my hair in a bun after using Roux Porosity and Elasta Qp Mango/Olive Oil Creme , then place a scarf overnight to dry.

I tried the t-shirt thing and it worked finally I can get back to sealing my damp hair with out it taking a whole day

I'm not a frequent cowasher but when I do, I cowash at night and 1) bun my damp hair and tie it up. The crown may be slightly damp the next morning but it dries relatively quickly. 2) Or, let my hair hang / air dry to about 90% and twist my hair up. The next day I have a great wave pattern.

My hair is short and I co-wash frequently. I just let my hair airdry. It dries like super fast. Like in a hour or so. Don't think that's a good thing though, lol. Idk.

after the gym which my hair is totally wet. I remove my wet wig cap put a clean cap on tie it down until its dry.....

My hair is low porosity and takes forever to dry no matter what. I prefer the look of diffused hair (on me) and I do so all year round.

Maybe thats the reason my hair dries soo slow! I never really looked into porosity

sunnieb you are too funny:lachen:
I airdry after cowashing (at night) it takes about two hours and I smooth with my hands and finger comb as it's drying. (the rare occasions where I use a comb my hair dries faster). Also when I have sufficient protein in my hair my hair dries faster. If I'm too far on the moisture side my hair takes much longer to dry.

This is exactly what I've started doing. Same situation: Relaxed and SL. I use SAA (silk amino acids) to add softness :)
